k" REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION Date: 02/28/11 Item No.: 13.c Department Approval City Manager Approval J Item Description: Consider Adopting a 2012 Budget Calendar 11 BACKGROUND 2 On February 14, 2011 the City Council held an initial discussion on the 2012 (and now 2013) Budget 3 Calendar. As part of that discussion, Councilmembers were asked to submit their individual preferences for 4, the type of budget process to be followed as well as the information to be compiled. A discussion was also 5 held on how the proposed budget calendar would be amended to accommodate a biennial budgeting 6 process.
