No, excavated material shall be <br />stockpiled outside of ' the grading limits without approval by the Engineer. <br />All graded areas within the wetland basin must be finished to a fine-graded (smooth) bare <br />soil surface suitable for native seed installation and germination. There shall be no large <br />clunps of soil material., Sites, that are to be broadcast seeded should be tilled to a depth of <br />3-inches. Seed bed preparation will include deep tilling (3-6 inches), disking to break up <br />dirt clunps, • harrowing, and packirg,. Walking on the soil should cause 'it to compact no <br />more than 1 -inch. Excessive compaction shall be loosened before seeding. All seeding <br />areas shall be 'inspected and approved by the Engineer prior to seeding. <br />Contractor shall make every effort to protect all oak trees adjacent to the project area. <br />The Contractor shall protect existing draintile pipes draining to the wetland. Any <br />alterations made to draintile pipes shall be approved by the Engineer, Midland Hills <br />Country Club staff, and property owners as appropriate. <br />Construction, maintenance and restoration of temporary haul roads, shall be considered as <br />incidental. <br />1041 BACKFLOW PREVENTER (2501) <br />Backflow preventer devices shall consist of a sleeved rubber "duckbilr, check valve. , <br />Products it should be PROCO series ProFlex Rubber Check Valves or approved <br />equal. <br />The backflow preventors proposed must include one inlie style check valve fitted inside <br />the pipe and a "slip slip over" check valve fitted on the outside of the pipe, <br />1043 PLANTING WARRANTY AND, MAWTINANCE (2575) <br />The successful establislinent and dominance of native wetland vegetation within the <br />wetland basin is essential to meeting the requirements ofproject permits. Therefore, a five <br />year (60 month) maintenance period is required for all areas seeded or planted with native <br />wetland and upland vegetation. The maintenance period begins immediately after all <br />seeding and planting are completed as indicated on the project plains.
