Greetings Roseville Community Member! Over the past year Roseville residents have invested a significant amount of time and energy reviewing their parks and recreation system and making recommendations for the future. On November 15, 2010 the Roseville City Council adopted the updated Parks and Recreation Master Plan and gave direction to the Parks and Recreation Commission to begin the process of implementing the adopted Plan. An Organizing Team, mainly made up of Parks and Recreation Commissioners, has begun to strategize and prioritize an implementation process. One of the first tasks identified is to begin assembling an Implementation Team that will be involved in various work groups and act as the front line of communication to the community sharing information on the future needs of the Parks and Recreation system. The Implementation Team Work Groups include; Communications Funding Options Implementation Partners Constellation Representatives Community Organizations Community Facilities Natural Resources We invite each of you to get involved to whatever level you are most comfortable. Implementing the Parks and Recreation Master Plan will take an extensive community effort. Please recommend this Implementation process to your family, friends and neighbors.
