REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br />Date: April 25, 2011 <br />GLWMO Interviews <br />Department Approval City Manager Approval <br />Item Description: Grass Lake Watershed Organization Interviews <br />11 BACKGROUND <br />2 The Grass Lake Water Management Organization Board (GL O) is a joint powers <br />3 organization that is responsible for storm water management within Grass Lake Watershed. <br />4, A five-member voluntary board appointed by the Roseville and Shoreview City Council governs <br />5 GLWMO. Members serve three-year terms — with two members from Roseville and two from <br />6 Shoreview. Appointment of the fifth member is rotated between the two cities. <br />"7 Joan Namara recently resigned so Roseville has a vacancy for a term that expires December 31, <br />8 2012. <br />9 The City received applications from Steve Barrett, Rebecca Galkiewicz and Kurt LaBresh for the <br />110 vacancy. <br />11 <br />12 RiEQUESTED COUNCIL ACTION <br />13 Interview three candidates for the GLWMO. <br />Prepared by: William J.
