Commission Action: Discuss desired options on moving the plan forward. Where do we go from here? <br /> Provide advice to staff. <br /> 3. Clarify Purpose, Role and Responsibilities of the Parks and Recreation Commission <br /> It was suggested by the commission roles and responsibilities are reviewed and discussed. Staff will be <br /> prepared to provide a brief presentation on the role of Parks and Recreation Commission per city code <br /> and job description. <br /> Commission Action: Discuss Commission roles and responsibilities <br /> 4. Tour of Sites (lunch will be provided) <br /> We will plan to tour the following parks and/or areas that were conceptually planned during the master <br /> plan process: Pocahontas Park, Rosebrook Park, Roseville's Southwest Corner, Oasis Park, Sandcastle <br /> Park, Autumn Grove Park, Harriet Alexander Nature Center and Villa Park. Also the parks that we will <br /> plan to visit that have relatively recent master plans are Lexington Park and Ladyslipper Park. <br /> Enclosed is a tour schedule and a copy of the concept plan and/or preliminary master plan for the areas. <br /> We will plan to take the 12 passenger city van. At the site, staff will review the plan with you. <br /> Commission Action: Tour sites, review and discuss plan. <br /> 5. Wrap Up <br /> 6. Adjourn <br />
