POLICY STATEMENT'-, <br />It is the intent of this policy to establish a fair an�d open notification an�d selection process <br />that en�courages Roseville residents to apply for appointment to the Roseville HR A Board., <br />PROCEDURE STATEMENT'-, <br />When a vacan�cy occurs on the HR A Board the following procedure will be used. <br />A., The Mayor an�d City Council, at a regular meeting, will establish a deadline for receiving <br />application�s, an�d the date(s) of the Council Meetin�g(s) to interview the applicants. The <br />time between the application deadline an�d the interviews will be no more than 30 days., <br />E. HRA Board vacan�cies will be advertised in the City's legal n�ewspaper an�d, if different, <br />the Roseville Review at least two (2) times before the application deadline., Vacan�cies <br />will also be advertised on the City of Roseville's Cable Television Ch n�n�el an�d posted <br />on the City Hall Bulletin Board., <br />C. Applications received after the established deadlin�e but before the established date of <br />applican�t interviews may be considered, at the discretion of the Mayor., <br />D. The n m�es an�d application�s of applican�ts will be provided to the Mayor an�d City <br />Council, an�d to the public, after the application deadline., <br />E. Applicants will be interviewed at the established m�eetin�g(s) by the Mayor an�d the City <br />Coun�cil., The Chair or designee of the HR A Board will be invited to atten�d an�d <br />participate in the interviews. The interviews will be open to the public., The Mayor may <br />elect to elim�in to any applican�ts from consider Lion, with reason ble notice to such <br />applican�ts an�d the City Council, prior to the established date of applican�t interviews. <br />F The Mayor will m ke appointments to the HR A Board from am�on�g the qualified <br />applican�ts at a subsequent City Council meeting following the meeting at which the <br />interviews are conducted. <br />G. The City Council will vote on approval of the Mayor's appointments at the sam�e <br />meeting at which the appointments are m de., <br />H., If not enough Mayoral appointments from am�on�g the qualified applicants are approved <br />by the City Council to fill all of the associated vacan�cies, the rem fining vacan�cies will <br />be re-advertised as described in A-E above., <br />Page 3 of 4 <br />
