16 Attachment A <br />1 ��7 <br />18 EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />19 OF THE <br />20 CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OSEVILLE <br />2 1 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 Pursuant to due all and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />' Roseville,, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 8th day of February, 2010 at .00 <br />26 p.m. <br />27 <br />28 The following members were present.- Johnson, Ihlan, Roe and Klausing <br />29 and the following were absent.* Punt. <br />30 <br />3 1 Member Ihlan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption.- <br />32 <br />33 Resolution No. 10783 <br />34 (Supersedes Resolutio No�. 10541) <br />35 To Define the Appointment and Reappointment Process, <br />36 for the Members of the Board of the <br />37 Housing & Redevelopment Authority In and For the City of Roseville <br />WHEREAS, the Housing g & Redevelopm�enit Authority In and For the City of Roseville <br />(HR was established by the City Council ins 2002 to provide h�ousin�g programss and <br />prom�ote safe, decent, and affordable h�ousin�g options for the community; and <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville HRA Board is com�posed of sevens residen�t m�em�bers and is a <br />separate en�tity with legal authority establish�ed un�der MN Statutes 469.,001 to <br />469.047; and <br />WHEREAS, th�egovern�in�g state statutes establish that appoin�tm�en�tstoth�e Roseville HRA <br />Board are m�ade by the Mayor, subject to the approval of the City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council desire to defin�e any open and collaborative <br />process by whi& appoin�tm�en�ts and reappoin�tm�en�ts to the Roseville HR A Board will <br />be made; and <br />WHEREAS, the appoin�tm�en�t and reappoin�tm�en�t process for the Roseville HR A Board has <br />not boons specifically defin�ed to this point; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council as follows-, <br />Page 2 of 4 <br />
