<br />24 project costs,, we have prepared a contract Change Order to correct these quantities. The new

<br />27 The total amount of Federal eligible costs for Phase I of this project is $,595,010.90. Phase I of
<br />28 this project has $,520,000 in Federal Funds available. The project partners have requested
<br />29 additional Federal Funds to cover the funding gap of $,75,010.90. This will be under
<br />3 ('-) consideration by the Transit for Livable Communities Board at their August 26th meeting. If
<br />3 'i additional federal funds are not awarded,, this portion of the project cost would be shared by the
<br />32 City of Falcon Heights and the City of Roseville. The cost split will be based on a proportionate
<br />33 share of the project cost in each individual City. Cost split.- 38% Falcon Heights, 62%
<br />34 Roseville. Roseville's share of the cost, $,46,506.76 would be paid for using storm water
<br />35 infrastructure funds.
<br />36 The fiber conduit installation cost of $,34,,680 is proposed to be funded by the City's Fiber
<br />37 Infrastructure Account.
<br />3, The reclaim and overlay of Gortner Avenue, $82,067.10, will be funded by the University of
<br />39 Minnesota.
<br />Agreements for the cost sharing on this project will be brought to the City Council at the
<br />4 1 September 12 th meeting_
<br />42 STAFF RECOMMENDATION
<br />43 Staff recommends the award of the Fairview Pathway Project (aka Northeast Suburban Campus
<br />44 Connector Bike/ Pedestrian Project), in the amount of $,854,756.20 to T. A. Schifsky & Sons, Inc., of
