I would like to thank the Council and City Manager, Bill Malinen, for hosting the meeting. The Roseville School Board and District Center Administrators look forward to meeting with you on Wednesday evening. During 2004, a group of district residents (the Educational Planning Advisory Committee - EPAC) worked in collaboration with district staff members to develop a set of recommendations to the Superintendent of Schools concerning the future of district facilities,, finances,, and educational programming. The Superintendent used these recommendations to fashion a plan for the district that received approval from the School Board in August of 2005. These long-term (cornerstones) and short-term (mileposts) goals formed the framework for the enclosed updated Educational Planning Advisory Committee (EPAC) Report. I hope this brief overview and update of the EP .0 Mileposts and Cornerstones assist in providing you with a context for our conversation on the 25th and help set the stage for additional opportunities to work together. We look forward to addressing any questions you may have on Wednesday evening.
