Regular City Council Meeting <br /> Monday,November 21, 2011 <br /> Page 28 <br /> Councilmember Pust reiterated the need to look at the cumulative impacts; with <br /> Mayor Roe concurring with her statement. <br /> Mayor Roe noted that the City Council would consider the utility rate approval at <br /> the same time as the budget and levy. <br /> c. Consider City Abatement for Unresolved Violations of City Code at 1890 Huron <br /> Mr. Munson advised that code enforcement items were actually now down to just <br /> this one on Huron; as observed through the NEP process. <br /> Permit Coordinator Don Munson reviewed violations at this single-family de- <br /> tached home, located at 1890 Huron, currently owned by Linda Bangert. Mr. <br /> Munson provided an update, including pictures, of violations, consisting of a gar- <br /> age door in disrepair (violation of City Code, Section 407.02.J & K); with abate- <br /> ment costs estimated to total $400.00. <br /> Mr. Munson noted multiple notices to the property owner, as well as phone calls— <br /> without response. <br /> Pust moved, Willmus seconded, authorization to the Community Development <br /> staff to abate the public nuisance violation at 1890 Huron, by hiring a general <br /> contractor to adjust the garage door so it will close properly, at an estimated cost <br /> of$400.00; with actual abatement and administrative costs billed to the property <br /> owner; and if not paid, staff is directed to recover costs as specified in City Code, <br /> Section 407.07B. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus; Pust; McGehee; Johnson; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> 13. Business Items—Presentations/Discussions <br /> a. Discuss 2012 Fee Schedule <br /> Due to time constraints, Mayor Roe noted that this item would have to be deferred <br /> to a future meeting. <br /> City Manager Malinen requested that individual Councilmembers contact him or <br /> Mr. Miller with their questions prior to that discussion to expedite the discussion. <br /> Staff was directed to several typographical errors on Page 8 of the Schedule relat- <br /> ed to grading plan review fees. <br /> 14. City Manager Future Agenda Review <br /> City Manager Malinen reviewed upcoming agenda items. <br /> 15. Councilmember-Initiated Items for Future Meetings <br />
