MEQUEST FOR, COUNCIL ACTION <br />Date: 03/24/08 <br />Item No.: 13.b <br />Department Approval City Manager Approval <br />Item Description: Request by Roundy s (in conjunction with Reinhart Real Estate Group, Inc., <br />property owner) for REZONING, and GENERAL CONCEPT PLANNED <br />UNIT, DEVELOPMENT, to redevelop 1201 - 1211, and 1215 Larpenteur <br />Avenue into a Rainbow Foods grocery store (PF08-005) <br />1.0 REQUESTED ACTION: <br />1.1 Roundy's seeks final approval of a REZONING, and FINAL DEVELOPMENT PLANNED <br />UNIT DEVELOPMENT to redevelop 1201 - 1211, and 1215 Larpenteur Avenue into a <br />60,000+ sq. ft. Rainbow grocery store, open market and small caf6/coffee restaurant <br />site/structure. <br />PROJECT, REVIEW HISTORY <br />Applications Submitted: March 7, 2008 <br />Determined Complete: March 10, 2008 <br />60-Day Review Deadline: May 6, 2008 <br />Project Report Recommendation: March 24, 2008 <br />Anticipated City Council Action: March 24, 2008 <br />2.0 SUMMARY OF RECOMMENDATION: <br />2.1 On March 13, 2008, the Roseville Development Review Committee (DRQ met to consider the <br />FINAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN submittal by Roundy's. At this meeting the information submitted <br />was determined complete and the DRC noted a few minor items that will require modification <br />on the final plan set. That said, the DRC recommends that the REZONING AND FINAL <br />DEVELOPMENT PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT for the redevelopment of 1201 to 1211 and 1215 <br />Larpenteur Avenue, be APPROVED, subject to conditions. <br />3.0 SUGGESTED ACTION: <br />3.1 ADOPT an ORDINANCE REZONING the subject property from SC, Shopping, Center District <br />to PUD, Planned Unit Development with an under�lying, zoning, of SC, Shopping, Center <br />District; and <br />3.2 B�y MOTION APPROVE the FINAL DEVELOPMENT PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT and <br />AGREEMENT fir 1201 - 1211, and 12 15 LarpM enteur� Avenue. <br />Page I of 10 <br />
