0 <br />Minutes - HANC Plan ning Committee <br />Meeting #8, January 24, 2008 <br />PRESENT: Stacey Dahlstrom, Colleen Gabor, Amy Ian-, Marcy McNeal, James McNeal, Sarah <br />McNeal, Gale Plederson, :Nancy Robbins, Jeff 'Sieiftiz, Jill Anfang, Lonnie Brokke, Debbie Cash <br />ABSENT: Sarah Broldt Lenz, Ric1h "Jake" Jacobson (Committee Chair), Monte Johnson, Dorothy <br />LaBrash, Julie Larson, Rose Masanz, Jim Stark, Rich Straumann (alt.), Bob Willmus, Jeff Evenson <br />With Jake unable to attend, the meeting was conducted by Jill Anfan, . <br />1. Jim McNeal presented in fuller detail his architectural ideas for remodeling the HANC building <br />with an eye to eliminating the "chaos" and making the building more as a gateway to the grounds of <br />the nature center. Discussion of his ideas, suggestions for other changes. <br />0 Entry as not very welcoming (Jinn Schneider) <br />Reconfigure to make a great-room (remove some walls) <br />Need multi-purpose spaces to accommodate large school groups (Debbie) <br />2. Copies of the first draft of the final Committee report were passed out and a page-by-page, line- <br />by-line discussion ensued. All suggestions were to be incorporated in the next draft version and thus <br />will not be listed here in these minutes. <br />"Hoinework" was assigned to help come up with a mission statement for the final report. <br />Suggestions for more chan%-10 es to the report were to have been sent to Jake by February 14. <br />Next meeting.1, February 21, 2008, at the nature center, 6:30-8:30pm. <br />M. inutes respectfully submitted by Nancy Robbins. <br />AM*= <br />
