Attachment A <br />EXT'RACT'OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duty held on the day of 9 2008 at 6:00 p.m. <br />The following members were present: <br />And the following were absent: <br />Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION <br />WHEREAS, Section 106.06 of the Roseville City Code authorizes the Roseville Fire Department <br />to organize a Fire Relief Association for the purpose of providing retirement benefits to its <br />members; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 61 of the Restated Bylaws of the Roseville Fire Relief <br />Association, amendments to the bylaws must be ratified by the Roseville City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Fire Relief Association membership approved amendments to the <br />bylaws to reduce the vesting period from 10 years to 5 years. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, that the following amendments to the Restated Bylaws of the Roseville Fire Relief <br />Association be adopted and remain in effect until such time that a subsequent bylaw change is <br />taken. <br />Affected Sections of the Restated Bylaws of the Roseville Fire Relief Association <br />F"age 2 of 3 <br />
