The City Council discussed this a few years ago as an alternative funding mechanism to offset
1 "7 3 levy increases. The position of that Council was that if additional funds were needed, just increase the levy
1 "74 accordingly. Currently streetlights are funded through the property to levy. The 2008 budgeted amount is
1 "7 5 $193,500. There are capital replacement needs of $,70,000 pending for replacement of the city owned
1 "7 6 streetlights on Prior Ave. and West Perimeter Drive.
