Hoisington Koegler Group Inc. <br />Johnson's motim was putt to a vote. <br />Vote: 6 yes,, 7 no. Motion failed. Therefore,, the definition of the Community Business land us <br />category was not changed. i <br />Bakemm made a motim to designate H�ar Mar Mall and the Target store as Regional Business rather <br />than Com�m�uln�ity Business. Goedeke seconded the motion. <br />Bakem�an�'s motion was putt to a vote. <br />Vote: 8 yes,, 5 no. Motion approved. SC approved the updated Land Use Plan miap to designate Har <br />Mar Mafi and the Target store as Regional Business rather than Community Business. <br />Since the SC ran cult of time at thiis meeting and it was their final meeting, there was not <br />adequate time to punt the entire draft Comprehensive Plan ulp for a vote for approval. However, all <br />of the individual policy chapters were approved by the SC prior to their last meeting. <br />V. Next Steps <br />The next step is for the entire draft updated Comprehensive Plan to be presented to the Planning <br />Commission for their review and recommendation of approval to the City Council for distributim <br />to adjacent and affected julrisdiction�s. MN state statute requlires that updates to a City's Comp <br />Plan be distribulted to adjacent and affected jurisdictions for their review and comment prior to <br />sulbm�ittal to the Metropolitan Council. Following the PC review, a pulblic hearing will be held and <br />then the draft updated Comprehensive Plan will be presented to the City Council for their review <br />and approval. <br />The planning con�sulltan�ts and City Staff expressed their appreciation for the Steering <br />Committee's commitment to this project and valuable con�tribultion�s to the ulpdate of the <br />Comprehensive Plan. <br />V1111.
