Work with the association to prepare a scope of work based upon the building <br />inspector's report and collect at least 2 private bids. <br />a. Don Munson to assist in preparing a scope of work (could ask the Housing <br />Resource Center to assist). <br />L Status: Don will review bids when receive. <br />b. Sue Shea to coordinate the mailing of scope of work and collection of two <br />bids for work. <br />i. Status: Bids need to be updated. Sue Shea coordinating this. <br />5. Determine the level of added fees and interest rate on possible financing of the <br />project. <br />a. If City determines that a loan to the project is needed and acceptable, <br />Chris Miller and Cathy Bennett determine interest rate and administrative <br />fees to determine fee per unit for fee resolution. <br />L Status: Review not completed <br />6. Survey other suburban communities to understand how many have evaluated the <br />use of Housing Improvement Areas and decided not to pursue and for what reason <br />or if they have used the Housing Improvement Area tool and what their <br />experience is with this tool. <br />a. Cathy Bennett to work with John Stark to prepare a questionnaire for <br />distribution to the MnAPA group and the Housing Coalition Institute. <br />L Status: Completed,, summary attached. <br />
