Attachment A <br />The Customer Agency shall: <br />a.. Provide laptop computers meet the specifications defined by SPFD and <br />equipped with Microsoft Windows XP Pro operating system, compatible <br />with the software and hardware used by SPFD for the Wireless Network. <br />The hardware is to include any needed mounts or modems for laptops, <br />cables, antennas or any other equipment specified by SPFD to install <br />laptops in the Customer Agency's emergency vehicles; Purchase of Sprint <br />wireless services and wireless modems specified by SPFD. <br />b. During the 14 -Day Field Testing Period, the SPFD will correct any <br />Wireless Network defects or deficiencies identified by the Customer <br />Agency or the SPFD; the Customer Agency shall telephone the SPFD <br />Helpdesk at 651 - 225- 6267or email to SPFDHel�C�cl.stflaul.r n. us upon <br />identification of a defect or deficiency; <br />C. Acceptance: the Customer Agency shall accept the Services after the set -up <br />of the initial test laptops, expiration of the 14 -Day Field Test Period and <br />correction of defects and deficiencies identified by the SPFD and the <br />Customer Agency; <br />d. Prepare a scheduled plan for the replacement of Customer Agency laptops <br />that will maintain compatibility and functionality with the software and <br />hardware used by the SPFD in the operation of the Wireless Network. <br />Failure to maintain the proper compatibility of the laptops, including <br />laptop operating system software will not preclude the SPFD from <br />upgrading the software or hardware as needed to maintain the Wireless <br />Network. The SPFD and the Customer Agency shall meet in good faith to <br />discuss the replacement plan. The SPFD reserves the right to terminate <br />this Agreement if the Customer Agency does not comply with the provisions <br />of this paragraph; <br />e. Should the Customer Agency decide to install additional software on their <br />laptops or alter the configuration of the laptops, it does so at its own risk. <br />The Customer Agency must provide staff capable of providing support for <br />the preparation, installation, maintenance and upgrades of the additional <br />software. The SPFD may test software for compatibility with the Wireless <br />Network at the Customer Agency's request. The testing will be charged at a <br />rate of $60/hour per employee required to complete the work. Such <br />testing may include actual installation of the software on Customer Agency <br />laptop (s) for testing purposes. The Customer Agency agrees to maintain <br />additional software installed on the laptops in a configuration compatible <br />with the Wireless Network. If at any time laptop configurations <br />implemented by the Customer Agency, or at the request of the Customer <br />Agency, interferes with operation of the Wireless Network or if software <br />conflicts develop between software required for the successful use of the <br />Wireless Network and additional software installed by the Customer Agency <br />JPA City and Roseville Wireless CAD Agreement Page 7 of 13 <br />
