T) Pfl n i ti nn c <br />Achievement Goal: A percentage that represents a reasonable frequency for meeting the <br />established Standard. <br />Apparatus Staffing: The minimum staffing for a fire apparatus to respond to an emergency call <br />for service. <br />Call Processing Time: The maximum time it takes a Roseville Fire Department dispatcher to <br />process the call and activate the Roseville Fire Department pagers. <br />Emergency Call for Service: A fire department incident that, according to the information <br />provided by the dispatcher, indicates there is a valid threat to life and /or property that justifies <br />the risk of a lights and siren (Code Red) response. <br />Chief Officer: Any officer of the fire department with the rank of District Chief or higher (or an <br />officer of lower rank assigned in an acting capacity). <br />Company Officer: Any officer of the fire department with the rank of Captain or Lieutenant (or <br />a non - officer assigned in an acting capacity) that is serving as the crew leader on the fire <br />apparatus. <br />Critical Calls for Service: An emergency call for service that requires the resources of three or <br />more Roseville Fire companies to mitigate the emergency. <br />Incident Staffing: The minimum number of firefighters assembled on the scene of a critical call <br />for service. <br />Staffed Station Response Time: The maximum time it takes for a staffed station response to an <br />emergency call for service as measured from the time the unit calls enroute until it arrives on- <br />scene. <br />Staffed Station Turnout Time: The maximum time it takes for an on -duty Roseville Fire <br />Department crew to have Wheels rolling to an emergency call for service. <br />Standard: A defined and expected level of performance. <br />Station Staffing: The hours of the day that a fire station is staffed with a minimum crew of 4 <br />firefighters and 1 supervisor. <br />Supervision of response: The minimum supervision needed on the scene of a critical emergency <br />call for service. <br />Unstaffed Station Response Time: The time it takes for a crew to respond to the scene of an <br />emergency call for service from an un staffed fire station. <br />37 <br />
