Below is an explanation of what happens with FMA. It will seem long - winded, but this gives you an idea of our intentions and our needs for the si gn.age. One of the things we don't want to happen is to have family coaches lost and wandering around creating confusion. The Family Motor Coach Association is holding its 80th International Convention at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds July 14, 15, 16, 17. This Convention will bring approximately 3 000 families in their motor homes and approximately 800 new display motor hones to the fairgrounds. As you can see, there will be a lot of vehicle traffic in the Saint Paul and Roseville area during this period; although most of the travel on your roads will take place from July 12th through the 13th and then again when the units are leaving on July 1 7th and 18 . Our Firm has been handling the Annual F MCA. Convention since 1971 and for the last 37 years, the Association has been Molding two conventions per year. The various convention sites include Les Angles, Tampa, Albuquerque, Denver, Salt Lake City, San Diego, B=swiek, Maine and Las Cruces, NM along with Saint haul back in 1983. In all of these locations, FMCA has installed temporary highway directional signs to direct the various groups to their assigned facility entrances. we along with local Law enforcement agencies, Ramsey Co. Sheriff, Saint Paul. Police and the State Police have developed the enclosed routes to keep the various groups separate so they do net overlap or cross over each ether.
