Mr. Thomas Faschke City planner Page The arrival schedule is as follows: Tuesday July 8th - The Advance Crew will arrive at the fairgrounds. Their function is to mark out all of the parking areas that will acconunodate families, caravans (groups of between 25 and 200 units that park together), handicapped coaches, volunteer family coaches and demonstration coaches. The advance crew and Association officers consist of approximatety 120 coaches. Friday, July l l th The Holding Area will open to accommodate early arrivals, The Holding Area is located at Highcrest Park, 2340 Hi.ghcrest load, Roseville, MN about 3 miles from the Fairgrounds. There will be about 250 coaches in and out of the area over the weekend of July 11t'. Saturday, July ] 2th — The first day of family parking in assigned lots at the fairgrounds, Many of the coaches arriving that day are the caravans. The other group will be the handicapped coaches and they are also parked at the fairgrounds. Sunday, July 13 h — A continuation of family coach arrivals. Monday, July 14th — Third and final day of family coach parking. The Convention will be open on Monday night for a preview. Tuesday morning is the official opening. The close of the event is on Thursday night July 17'h at 5pm. We would like to begin the installation of the temporary signs on Wednesday July 9th with completion on Thursday July 1 okh if needed. Also, if required, all signs will have a copy of the permits attached. We would normally start the removal of the directional signs on Wednesday July 16'h and finish on Thursday July 1 7th, All the signs will be removed. Enclosed is the proposed sign list along with maps indicating the sign location and their route, please let me know if you will need any more inforivation for us to obtain the permits needed.
