Attachment C <br /> 1 HOUSING & REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br /> 2 IN AND FOR THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> 3 SERVICES AGREEMENT <br /> 4 <br /> 5 THIS AGREEMENT is entered into as of the 91h day of Januar , 2012 by and <br /> 6 between the Dousing & Redevelopment Authority in and for the City of Roseville, Minnesota, <br /> 7 hereinafter referred to as the HRA, and the City of Roseville, a Minnesota municipal corporation, <br /> 8 hereinafter referred to as the City. <br /> 9 <br /> 10 WITNESSETH: <br /> 11 <br /> 12 WHEREAS, the HRA desires to contract with the City for the services of an employee <br /> 13 of the City to act as Housing Program Manager for the HRA. <br /> 14 <br /> 15 NOW THEREFORE, the parties hereto do mutually agree as follows: <br /> 16 <br /> 17 I. Scope of Services. The Housing Program Manager position assigned by the City to <br /> 18 the HRA shall perform necessary and requested services relating to the actions and activities of <br /> 19 the HRA as outlined below: <br /> 20 <br /> 21 A. Administering housing programs offered by the HRA, <br /> 22 B. Implement the programs and objectives of the HRA Housing Plan and HRA Board, <br /> 23 C. Serving as liaison with the Metropolitan Council, and housing partners regarding <br /> 24 programs and services, <br /> 25 D. Organize the Living Smarter Fair, and <br /> 26 E. Other duties as directed by the Executive Director and HRA Board. <br /> 27 <br /> 28 The HRA understands and acknowledges that the person assigned by the City as Housing <br /> 29 Program Manager will also be performing services for the City during the term of this <br /> 30 Agreement. <br /> 31 <br /> 32 II. Term. This agreement shall be effective upon the approval of the HRA Board of <br /> 33 Directors and the City Council, whichever occurs last, and shall continue for a period of one year <br /> 34 thereafter(i.e. _January, 2012 through_December 31, 2012). <br /> 35 <br /> 36 III. Fee. The HRA shall pay the City a fee of$ _64,000 ("Contract Fee") for the <br /> 37 services set forth in Provision I above. The Contract Fee shall be paid in four equal installments <br /> 38 of$ _16,000 payable at the end of each quarter of the term of this Agreement. The HRA's use of <br /> 39 the Housing Program Manager shall not exceed 29 hours per week during the term of this <br /> 40 Agreement. <br /> 41 <br /> 42 IV. Employment Status and Control of Work. The parties acknowledge that the City is <br /> 43 acting as an independent contractor for the HRA under this contract. The City shall supply, at its <br /> 1 <br />
