<br />Roseville Police Civil Service Commission (PCSC) <br />Meeting Minutes: Tuesday, January 18, 2011 <br />Elm Conference Room - Roseville City Hall <br />Members Present: <br />Commissioners James Campbell, Teresa Bailey and Don Drackert <br />Others Present for the Agenda Items: <br />, <br />RPD Chief of PoliceRick Mathwig <br />A. <br />Chairperson Campbell called the meeting to order at 1:38 pm and the previously <br />provided agenda was reviewed and agreed upon as submitted. <br />B. <br />Approval of Previous Meeting Minutes:The PCSC reviewed and unanimously <br />approved the Nov 9, 2010 meeting minutes. <br />C. <br /> A motion was made, seconded, and approved to designate today’s meeting as <br />its annual meeting in lieu of the annually scheduled PCSC meeting in February <br />2011. It was further moved, seconded and approved to incorporate the one <br />outstanding agenda item, i.e., a discussion of the Roseville Police Department <br />{RPD) anticipated reorganization, into today’s agenda. <br />D. <br /> Chief Mathwig first provided an overview of the recently completed interviews of <br />all applicants for the three available RPD entry-level police officer positions. The <br />City of Roseville is fortunate to have many excellent candidates to be selected for <br />the Eligibility Register. Chief Mathwig reviewed and summarized the pertinent data <br />of the top interviewees with the PCSC. After discussion and recommendations from <br />Chief Mathwig, the candidate list was reduced to the following six candidates listed <br />in the order of their evaluation standing: <br /> Joseph Cox <br /> Boua Chang <br /> Joshua Swenson <br /> Justin Gunderson <br /> Matthew George <br /> Shannon Deshler <br /> <br />
