<br />Roseville Police Civil Service Commission (PCSC) <br />Meeting Minutes: Tuesday, March 8, 2011 <br />Elm Conference Room - Roseville City Hall <br />Members Present: <br />Commissioners James Campbell, Teresa Bailey and Don Drackert <br />Others Present for the Agenda Items: <br />, <br />RPD Chief of PoliceRick Mathwig <br />A. <br />Chairperson Campbell called the meeting to order at 1:00 pm and the previously <br />provided agenda was reviewed and agreed upon as submitted. <br />B. <br />Approval of Previous Meeting Minutes:The Commission reviewed and <br />unanimously approved the Jan 18, 2011 meeting minutes. <br />C. <br /> Status of Any Previous Action Items: <br />Action Item: Chief Mathwig: <br />As requested, Chief Mathwig provided the Commission with the results of the <br />background checks completed on the top candidates for the three available <br />officer positions. The following seven applicants, listed in order of merit, passed <br />all required checks and are considered eligible and fully qualified to be hired as <br />City of Roseville Police Officers. <br /> Joseph Cox <br /> Boua Chang <br />Joshua Swenson <br />Justin Gunderson <br />Matthew George <br />Shannon Deshler <br /> Brian Mevissen <br />Positions were offered to the top three candidates: Joseph Cox, Boua Chang <br />and Joshua Swenson. Mr. Cox and Mr. Chang accepted but Mr. Swenson <br />declined. An offer was then extended to Justin Gunderson who accepted the <br />position. The Commission fully agrees with and supports the hiring of these <br />three individuals. <br />ACTION ITEM CLOSED <br /> <br />
