D.Other Discussion Items: 1. Under the provisions of Minnesota Statue, Title 74, Chapter 419.06 (7) and after review of individual qualifications, a motion was made and seconded by the Commission to certify the individuals listed below as the three applicants now standing highest on the list to fill any future vacancies within the Roseville Police Department: Matthew George Shannon Deshler Brian Mevissen 2. Chief Mathwig provided the Commission with an overview of the upcoming promotion test process which will be used to fill the three newly established Lieutenant (Investigation, Patrol and Administration) positions. The testing will consist of the following three components: 1) Peer review comprising 15% of the total score, 2) Background and Personnel File review conducted by the Chief of Police comprising 25% of the total score. 3) Personal interview conducted by three upper level police administrators from outside the Department. This component comprises 60% of the total score. 3. Chairperson Campbell queried as to the internal distribution of the newly approved PCSC Rules and Regulations of our Commission. Chief Mathwig stated that copies have been provided to every affected officer in the Department and has been posted in the department. It was determined however that no copy had yet been placed on the City of Roseville web site as required in the Rules. ACTION ITEM OPEN: Chief Mathwig agreed to ensure that a copy is appropriately placed on the City of Roseville web site. E. The next meeting of the Roseville PCSC will be scheduled by Chairperson Campbell on an as-needed basis. Adjournment no other matters were brought to the attention of the Commission, Chairperson As Campbell adjourned the meeting at 1:47 pm.
