<br />3. Prior to the receipt of any petition, the City elected to prepare a second Environmental
<br />Assessment Worksheet for the Centre Pointe project.

<br />4. The City submitted the second EA W for Centre Pointe to the EQB for distribution and
<br />comment on January 17, 1997.
<br />
<br />5. The City is also preparing an EA W for Twin Lakes.
<br />
<br />6. The City expects that the EA W for Twin Lakes will be ready for circulation and public

<br />7. The City of Roseville received, on January 27, 1997, a petition signed by 25 individuals
<br />requesting preparation ofEA Ws for Centre Pointe and Twin Lakes, and requesting that the EQB act
<br />as the RGU for those projects.

<br />8. In response to the petition, the EQB has declined to serve as RGU and has confirmed that
<br />the RGU is the City of Roseville.
<br />
<br />9. Because the City ofRoseville has already prepared the requested EA W for Centre Pointe and

<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BASED UPON THE FINDINGS OF FACT SET

<br />FORTH i\.BOVE, that the City Council of the City of Roseville hereby declares that it is
<br />unnecessary for the City to order the preparation of additional Environmental Assessment
<br />Worksheets for Centre Pointe and Twin Lakes.

<br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Wiski, and
<br />upon a vote being taken thereon, the following vote in favor thereof: Goedeke, Wiski, Maschka,
<br />Mastel, and Wall
