Action Item #3: Continued <br /> <br /> <br />Copies were provided to each member of the Commission for review prior to the <br />meeting. The proposed Rules and Regulations were thoroughly reviewed, <br />discussed, some minor changes made and the document approved by the <br />commission as submitted and modified. Chief Mathwig will submit the completed <br />document to the City Attorney for one last courtesy review. The Commission will <br />do a final review and grant approval of the Rules and Regulations in December <br />2010 with an effective date of January 1, 2011. <br />ACTION ITEM: NOW CLOSED <br /> <br />C. Other Discussion Items: <br /> <br /> <br />Chief Mathwig provided the Commission with an overview of the hiring and <br />promotional processes within the Roseville Police Department. A general <br />discussion ensued and all follow on questions addressed. <br /> <br />Approval has been granted to allow the Police Department to hire additional <br />officers and the openings have been posted on MN POST and online through <br />Roseville City Human Resources.
