MRfiarinq - Proposed Use .I In compliance with Federal Revenue Sharing guidelines, recepients of RevenLif Sharing - funds must hold a Proposed Use Hearing prior to the time the annual budget is presented to the governing body. The purpose of thi's hearina is to provide an-opportuni,ty for citizens to comment on or suggest possible uses fo*o' a r these funds, Notice of the hearing has been placed in appropriate publications. It is estimated the City will receive $184,000 relating to 1982 calendar year (Entitlement Period 13), In addition, there is approximately $16,600 as a result of interest earnings on revenue sharing funds from previous years., It is recommended that use of Revenue Sharing funds be restricted to capital items or improvements or non-reoccurring expenses as it has been in past years, Staff review of specific items as now in progress, however, the following general categories have been identified.
