26 A. MAPLEWOOD and ROSEVILLE shall provide to one another civil <br />27 engineering and related technical services at such times as are agreed to pursuant to <br />28 Provision 1D below. These services include but shall not be limited to the following: <br />29 ❑ Project development including research, feasibility report writing, and plan <br />30 development. <br />31 ❑ Administrative engineering report writing and analysis. <br />32 ❑ Analysis and modeling of utility systems. <br />33 ❑ Assist with engineering policy development. <br />34 ❑ Application for permits and permit reporting. <br />35 ❑ Field coordination and inspection of public works projects <br />36 ❑ Other engineering related tasks as assigned <br />37 B. This contract is intended to be a service contract between the two Cities. It <br />38 is expressly understood that the City providing services will be acting as an independent <br />39 contractor of the City receiving services. The parties agree that an employee of the City <br />40 involved in providing services under this contract to the other City ( "Assigned Worker ") <br />41 shall remain an employee of the City providing such services and shall not be an <br />42 employee of the City for whom the services are provided. <br />43 C. The Employing City shall be solely responsible for compensating the <br />44 Assigned Worker(s) engaged in providing engineering and technical services under this <br />45 Agreement, including any overtime wages incurred, as well as any insurance or employee <br />46 benefits provided under the policies or agreements of the Employing City. In addition, <br />47 the Employing City shall be solely responsible for training, workers' compensation, <br />2 <br />
