<br />Resolution No. 8401 <br /> <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />If a vacancy occurs because of resignation, death, moving <br />from the City, removal from office, ineligibility for <br />reappointment, etc., on any Roseville Board, Commission, or <br />Committee, the Council shall announce the vacancy and that <br />applications will be accepted from all interested citizens of <br />Roseville. <br /> <br />In making all appointments, Council members shall keep in <br />mind the need for women to serve Roseville government and <br />make a serious attempt to increase their representation on <br />its Boards, Commissions, and Committees. <br /> <br />In all such appointments, the most qualified person shall be <br />appointed. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Member Matson, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the <br />following voted in favor thereof: Matson, Cushman, Johnson, Kehr, and <br />Rog, and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA) <br />) SS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY ) <br /> <br />I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified Acting city Manager of <br />the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, State of Minnesota, do hereby <br />certify that I have carefully compared the attached and foregoing <br />extract of minutes of a regular meeting of said City Council held on <br />the 23rd day of January, 1989, with the original thereof on file in <br />my office. <br /> <br />WITNESS MY HAND officially as such Manager this 24th day of January, <br />1989. <br /> <br />.Wo~ <br /> <br />Steve North, Acting City Manager <br /> <br />SEAL <br />
