<br />Resolution No. 8426 <br /> <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the "sunset" provision included in the 1988 <br />Transportation Funding Bill be removed so that MVET revenue can continue <br />to go to the Highway User Tax Distribution Fund so that it can be used <br />for city streets and county roads in the State of Minnesota. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be forwarded to the Governor <br />of the State of Minnesota, the Commissions of Transportation, and to the <br />Roseville delegation to the State Legislature. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember Kehr and upon vote being taken thereon, the <br />following voted in favor thereof: Kehr, Matson, Johnson, Cushman, and <br />Rog, <br />and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY SS <br /> <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified Acting City Manager of the <br />City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, State of Minnesota, do hereby <br />certify that I have carefully compared the attached and foregoing <br />extract of minutes of a regular meeting of said City Council held on <br />the 16 day of March, 1989, with the original thereof on file in my <br />office. <br /> <br />WITNESS MY HAND officially as such Manager this <br /> <br />20th <br /> <br />day of <br /> <br />March <br /> <br />, 1989. <br /> <br />SEA L <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Acting city Manager <br />
