Proposal to Undertake the Remaining work to Prepare the <br />Final Tax Increment Finance Report <br />Dear Mayor and Council: <br />Submitted along with this letter are twelve (12) copies of the Tax <br />Increment Finance Feasibility Report for your review and consideration. <br />The preparation of this report marks the completion of several <br />significant and essential components of this redevelopment planning <br />effort. <br />With the able assistance of the City Staff, the following work has <br />been completed since the council approved this planning effort on <br />30 November 1981. <br />1. Information was prepared and the city council, Planning <br />Commission, Staff, and interested citizens were taken on <br />a bus tour of the moratorium area and pertinent new <br />developments throughout the metropolitan Area <br />2. Personal meetings were held with the majority of the <br />land owners affected by the proposed rezoning and <br />redevelopment <br />3. The B -4 Retail office Service Zoning District was drafted, <br />and presentations were prepared to assist the Council, in <br />its deliberations regarding it. The draft was subsequently <br />refined and the Council adopted this District, <br />4. city records were researched to compile current assessed <br />valuations for each of more than 100 parcels which were <br />considered potential candidates for inclusion in a tax <br />increment district* <br />
