To control the possible over-use of the buildings and <br />grounds resulting In deleterious affects on contiguouu.,-. <br />residential properties, <br />There follows then the memo to the Council which explains the proposed <br />amendments: <br />The current zoning ordinance arnong its list of permitted uses in <br />the R-1 District (all of the schools are zoned R-1) includes <br />"churches, convents, libraries, city buildings -and similar public <br />uses" so as to avoid what could constitute over use of the schools, <br />resultinq in deleterious impact on the contiguous residential <br />area, <br />
