BRIGGS AND MORGAW <br />City of Roseville <br />August 21,.1980 <br />Page Two <br />following reasons <br />1. <br />Regan has taken substantial steps toward <br />relocation of the school bus parking <br />facility* <br />(a) In early Fall, 1979, Donald Regan <br />began efforts to acquire a new site, <br />which culminated in the purchase by <br />him on November 30, 1979, of property <br />on Partridge Road in Roseville, <br />specifically Lots 3 and 4, Block 1, <br />Partridge Industrial. Park, With some <br />filling and grading, blacktop and <br />curb, this s it to will eventually be <br />able to accommodate as many as 200 <br />school buses; <br />So as to have nearby maintenance and <br />dispatching facilities, Donald Regan <br />commenced negotiations to purchase <br />Lot 1, Block 1, Partridge Industrial <br />Park from its owner, Jack Maxwell <br />(Agora Leases, Inc,) that property <br />is approximately 160 feet south along <br />Partridge Read of Dots 3 and 4, and <br />has an of fice /garage building with <br />two stalls and a. lif t f or vehicle <br />maintenance, as well as additional <br />space for parking of up to 40 school <br />buses. Those negotiations culminated <br />in a Purchase Agreement for such <br />property dated July 11, 19 8 0. The <br />Purchase Agreement on Lot 1 is <br />contingent upon Regan obtaining whatever <br />local governmental approvals may be <br />required for his intended use as a <br />site for school bus maintenance and <br />parking; <br />( c ) The purchase of Lot I was scheduled to <br />close on August 15, 1980, but has not <br />closed because Regan has not received <br />an indication from officials of the <br />City of Roseville that his intended use <br />
