However, the planting of the grass area between the <br />driveway on the southwesterly side of the site indicates Amur Maple f which <br />is a shrub -like tree providing delightful fall color., but relatively little <br />screen effect in the winter. We suggest that the Black Hills Spruce <br />indicated on other parts of the site be substituted for this maple to <br />provide more adequate screening tO the contiguous residential properties on <br />the southwest side. The land to the southeast is already developed with <br />townh6uses and the property directly to the east is commercial. The land <br />directly to the west is now single family, but is planned in the Comprehensive <br />Plan for medium density (townhouse development) in the future. <br />
