HEAD APPROVAL. <br />Earlier this year, the city entered into an agreement with the <br />consulting f irm of Short, Elliott and Hendrickson and Associates <br />to prepare a storm water management plan for the approximately <br />350 acres area of the cl-ty -near Terminal Road and Long Lake Road. <br />After discussions with the Rice Creek staff, the plan was pre- <br />pared and is now ready for.council consideration. <br />The pl-an addresses in-a general fashion the stormwater needs of <br />this area, particularly in regard to water quality, runoff quan- <br />tities and ponding, It is not intended to be a detailed design <br />of improvements for the area, <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION: A motion <br />Plan for <br />age area <br />with the <br />veloping <br />Creek Wa <br />approving the Storm Water Manaqement <br />sub-districts 1. 2 and 3 of storm drain- <br />8-SW and authorizing the staff to work <br />Rice Creek Watershed personnel in de- <br />new operating procedures regarding Rice <br />tershed permits, <br />
