City Council Regular Meeting - 04/25/05
Minutes - Page 6

K. Don Dame, 6740 Ashwood Rd, Woodbury, MN
Mr. Dame reviewed his past concerns related to a Roseville
Police Department investigation and refusal of the Police
Chief and the City Manager to meet with him and an
individual Council person related to his concerns regarding
the case and subsequent investigation. Mr. Dame called for
the firing of the City Manager and Police Chief for
insubordination.

Mr. Dame further spoke to the Council's consideration of
their Rules and Procedures, opining that citizens should not
be limited to the amount of time they wish to address the
City Council, however opining that a five minute
time frame seemed reasonable unless the subject were more
complex than normal; and further opined that public
comments should not be limited to Roseville citizens, as
some decisions affected a broader audience that just its
citizens.

Mr. Dame concluded by questioning the City's policy for
providing public information, comparing his past
experiences in Roseville to the community of Woodbury,
and left a copy of the City of Woodbury's copying cost
policy for City Council review and consideration.

L. Chris Hughes, 1779 Rose Place
Mr. Hughes used the quotations on the gymnasium walls to
encourage the City Council to actively engage in listening
to the citizens and giving weight to their comments related
to the Twin Lakes Redevelopment project, opining that
there was little enthusiasm for the project. Mr. Hughes
encouraged the City Council to turn this opportunity
around to serve the best interests of the community by
voting down the proposed project and standing behind the
community and citizens.

M. Della Gunard, 1716 Ryan Avenue
Ms. Gunard questioned whether residents could afford to
continue living in the community if taxes continued to
mcrease.
