<br />City Council Regular Meeting - 02/28/05 <br />Minutes - Page 17 <br /> <br />their requirements. <br /> <br />George Johnson, 451 South McCarron's Blvd. and <br />representative and spokesperson for Galilee Lutheran <br />Church <br />Mr. Johnson advised Councilmembers that the easement <br />referenced earlier had been approved by their Church Council <br />and the congregation; that an appraisal had been done; as well as <br />an engineering study for the Church's property to determine <br />impacts to any further development of the Master Plan for future <br />church parking needed. Mr. Johnson noted that the Church was <br />prepared to enter into an agreement with the developer for joint <br />use of one entrance and property; and that the Church was <br />anxious to get new neighbors. Mr. Johnson further noted that the <br />general consensus was that the congregation would approve the <br />Concept Plan as presented. <br /> <br />Tom Tschida, 2057 Woodbridge <br />Mr. Tschida noted that, at first he had been totally against the <br />project, but with the revision to two twin units and one single <br />unit, he could be supportive of the project. Mr. Tschida opined <br />that he looked forward to the developer showing the <br />neighborhood the revised plan, but he didn't see any reason to <br />hold up the Concept Plan at this time. <br /> <br />Jerome Wagner, East Roseville <br />Mr. Wagner eloquently and elaborately addressed his concerns <br />with McCarrons Lake, a ground water lake, and the continuing <br />deterioration in water quality; and encouraged less impervious <br />surface and engineering the development to replace missing <br />groundwater and return it to the lake. <br /> <br />Mayor Klausing opined that this should be an engineering topic <br />addressed by the City's Public Works, Environment and <br />Transportation Commission for any pending development. <br /> <br />Mayor Klausing advised that, as part of upcoming motions, it <br />should be noted the developer was revising elevations to reduce <br />the condo units from six to five units consisting of two twin <br />units and one single to allow sight corridors to the pond, loosen <br />up the density, and provide more flexibility in the architectural <br />
