Ms. Pederson thanked all <br />who participated, and specifically Mayor Klausing for his <br />attendance and Mr. Brokke for his expressions of <br />appreciation. <br /> <br />B. David Shove, 1624 W Eldridge <br />Mr. Shove, representing the Green Party of St. Paul, <br />announced an upcoming informational program and public <br />discussion on the Twin Lakes Shopping Center on <br />Tuesday, February 15, 2005 from 7:00 - 8:45 p.m. at the <br />Roseville Public Library on County Road Band Hamline <br />Avenue. Mr. Shove noted that issues scheduled for <br />discussion included the environment, economic impact, and <br />public process with neighborhood residents, Geoff <br />Gorham, Al Sands, Steve Burwell, (a local businessman) <br />and Councilmember Amy Ihlan scheduled to speak at the <br />meeting. Mr. Shove further noted that Senator John Marty <br />was also scheduled to speak. <br /> <br />Mr. Shove also announced another upcoming meeting of <br />Independent and Locally-Owned Businesses entitled, <br />MIBA (Metro Independent Business Alliance) scheduled <br />for Thursday, February 24, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. at John B. <br />Davis Auditorium, Campus Center at Macalester College <br />on 1600 Grand Avenue in St. Paul, with Jeff Milchen, <br />Outreach Director for AMIBA (American Independent <br />Business Alliance) scheduled to speak. <br /> <br />Mr. Shove invited all to attend and provided informational <br />brochures on each program. <br /> <br />C. John Kysylyczyn, 3083 N Victoria Street <br />Mr. Kysylyczyn addressed previous comments related to <br />the amount of time provided at each meeting for public <br />comment; and provided his interpretation and dispute of the <br />validity of statements that the City Council was not getting <br />business completed due to excessive citizen comment. <br /> <br />Mr. Kysylyczyn provided various comparisons from his <br />tenure as the City's Mayor and current meeting procedures. <br />
