EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 19th day of August, 2002, at 6:30 p.m. The following members were present: Maschka, Kough, Klausing and the following were absent: Kysylyczyn, Schroeder Council Member Klausing introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 10021 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A VARIANCE TO SECTION 1004.01A6 (MAXIMUM TOTAL SURFACE AREA) AND SECTION 1004.02D4 (YARD REQUIREMENTS- SETBACKS) OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 716 COUNTY ROAD C (PF 3393). WHEREAS, the Viking Racing Pigeon Club, Inc. has requested a variance to Section 1004.01A6 (Maximum Total Surface Area) and to Section 1004.02D4 (Yard Requirements- Setbacks) of the Roseville City Code to allow newly installed site improvements (concrete driveway and sidewalks) and a shed to remain on the premises; and WHEREAS, the Viking Racing Pigeon Club, Inc. property is located at 716 County Road C and legally described at as: The west 75 feet of the east 335 feet of the north 218 feet of the west half of the northeast quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 11, Township 29, Range 23, Ramsey County, Minnesota, PIN: 11-29-23-11-0004 WHEREAS, Section 1004.01A6 limits each residential lot in Roseville to a maximum impervious coverage of 30%; and WHEREAS, Section 1004.02D4 requires a side yard setback on a comer lot adjacent a street to be a minimum distance of 30 feet; and WHEREAS, the Viking Racing Pigeon Club, Inc. premises has existing improvements that exceed the maximum total surface area allowed by the City Code and said property has a shed that encroaches into the required comer side yard setback; and WHEREAS, the Viking Racing Pigeon Club, Inc. desires to keep the site improvements as installed; and 1
