OTHER <br /> 149 o Doneen shared information on Community Forest Bonding Grants. Staff will look into <br /> 150 these and identify the areas that have potential in Roseville. <br /> 151 o Anfang shared an article from the Saturday, December 31 Star Tribune about the rise in <br /> 152 requests for fiind raising nuns and events in the suburbs and how different communities <br /> 153 are handling the flux in requests. Roseville Parks and Recreation was contacted to talk <br /> 154 about how we handle the requests. <br /> 155 o Etten shared a recent Star Tribune article that recognized increased and expanded youth <br /> 156 programs and recreation based opportunities to reduce crime in Minneapolis and how <br /> 157 anti-crime programs are being connected to recreation experiences. This article helps us <br /> 158 refocus on how essential parks and recreation services are to a healthy City.
