Introductions /Public Comment Invited <br />Commissioners and staff will be introduced. Public participation and public comment is <br />encouraged. <br />2. Approval of Minutes of the January 3, 2012 Meeting <br />Enclosed is a copy of the minutes of January 3, 2012. Please be prepared to approve <br />or amend. <br />Requested Action: Approve /amend minutes of the meeting of January 3, 2012 <br />3. Community Engagement Task Force Report <br />Greg Simbeck and Randall Doneen serve on the Human Rights Commission Community <br />Engagement Task Force as representatives of the Parks and Recreation Commission. <br />Simbeck and Doneen will be prepared to report on the latest progress on this effort. <br />Requested Action: Commission discussion and feedback <br />4. Park and Recreation Renewal Program - Master Plan Implementation Discussion <br />On January 9, 2012 the City Council authorized the Best Value Procurement Method for the <br />four year Park and Recreation Renewal Program. <br />An initial Community and Work Team meeting was held on January 25, 2012 at the Skating <br />Center. There were approximately 30 people attending. Commission members and staff will <br />be prepared to review the results of that meeting with you. <br />The following upcoming project specific meetings are scheduled: <br />Date: February 8, 2012, 6:30 p.m. <br />Location: Roseville Skating Center <br />Purpose: To review Lexington Park improvements and building replacement <br />Date: February 15, 20127 6:30 p.m. <br />Location: Harriet Alexander Nature Center <br />Purpose: To review Boardwalk replacement and Nature Center improvements <br />Commission representatives and staff will provide any additional information to date. <br />Requested Action: Discuss Park and Recreation Renewal Program (PRP) and provide <br />advice and guidance <br />5. Directors Report <br />Include in your packet is a copy of some highlights of the Parks and Recreation Departments <br />2011 accomplishments and 2012 goals.
