651 Hale Avenue North Oakdale, Minnesota 55128 telephone: 651.710.8448 facsimile: 651.710.2552 www.eorinc.com
Date I May 18, 2011
To I GLWMO Board of Commissioners
cc I Tom Petersen, GLWMO Administrator
Duane Schwartz, City of Roseville
Mark Maloney, City of Shoreview
From I Camilla Correll
Regarding I GLWMO Internal Comments on DRAFT Watershed Management Plan
Background
On May 6, 2011 FOR delivered copies of the DRAFT Watershed Management Plan to Karen Eckman
Tom Petersen Duane Schwartz and Mark Maloney. Copies of the watershed management plan were
provided to the Jonathan Miller and Mary Kay Von De Linder the following week and copies were
provided to Chuck Westerberg and the new Commissioner earlier this week.
In the transmittal with the DRAFT Watershed Management Plan FOR requested that comments be
received by May 18, 2011 so that they could be summarized in a memo to the Board for review at the
May 19, 2011 Board Meeting.
Update
To date, FOR has received comments from the following individuals: Karen Eckman Jonathan Miller,
Tom Petersen and Duane Schwartz. The comments are reflected below. At this point the comments
appear to be minor in nature (no conflicting comments) and will be incorporated at one time once all
internal comments have been submitted to FOR.
Comments Received as of May 18, 2011
Comments are grouped by plan section and the initials of the individual submitting the comment are
provided with the comment.
General Comments
Comment (JM) As a general comment, some sections use footnote references, while some use scientific
parenthetic notation. It would be nice if there was a unified reference format through the
document (as this is not a scientific document, I would prefer footnotes as they do not
]rider reading as much).
Response This change will be made to the plan
Acknowledeements
Comment (KE) Organize the stakeholders as follows: group them by agency, non - profits, and residents
(alphabetical by city).
Response This change will be made to the plan
An Equal Opportunity Affirmative Action Employer
Emmons & Olivier Resources, Inc. water I ecology I community
