Mr. Johnson advised that those sites were effective, ed a lot of interest <br />from area residents. While seeing an increase in projects in the GLWMO, o ted that Capitol <br />Region WSD continued to have the highest participation in BMP prof but onl wo 2) lakes <br />(McCarron's and Como), other than smaller water bodies. <br />Mr. Johnson highlighted the Eileen Stanley project for install ' n of e porous driveway materials, <br />estimated to capture one inch of rainfall annually, thereby p out 1/ d of phosphorus annually <br />from Lakes Owasso and Wabasso. <br />Mr. Johnson referenced the Arthur project, pending since about 2010 <br />target area for Roseville and the GLWMO to consider due to its <br />Owasso, and the timing for a project adjacent <br />oversized rain garden was estimated to capt <br />phosphorus. <br />Johnson <br />ested that this be a priority <br />n on the south end of Lake <br />J that the bigger buffer plan and <br />rainfall and pull 1.5 pounds of <br />Mr. Johnson noted that the Reiland Ln. project in oreview had been approved by the GLWMO Board <br />last fall, and would provide a great opportunity for MP given the existing depression in that area, with <br />MVadvised dvised that e significant BMP project on Lake Owasso in the works for the last nine (9) <br />mined pendi but it would serve as an ideal project to move forward if Mr. Petersen's <br />co the prope owner was successful. Mr. Johnson confirmed with Mr. Petersen that this <br />pre a pr' ity, since it would stop further erosion on a three feet (3') bank that was currently <br />slalso. M sled his hope that other property owners with pending rain garden BMP's would take <br />th install them this year, also. <br />Mr. Johnson thanked the GLWMO Board, and expressed his pleasure in working with them and <br />partnering on the various projects. <br />Chair Miller thanked Mr. Johnson for partnering with the Board as well. <br />Member Von De Linde asked if Mr. Johnson had any suggestions for the GLWMO Board based on past <br />presentations moving forward with future presentations that would help residents be more interested and <br />7 <br />
