City Council Regular Meeting - 01110/05 Minutes - Page 2 Mayor Klausing sought consensus to refer the suggested items to the next available Council Study Session. Councilmember Ihlan expressed her preference that several preliminary procedures be put in place as soon as possible (i.e., Robert's Rules of Order and timing of content for agenda inclusion), with additional discussion to follow. Councilmember Kough opined that the items in question should have been placed on a Council Study Session for discussion; however, concurred with Councilmember Ihlan's request for immediate action on the identified items. Councilmember Maschka concurred on adoption of Roberts Rules without further discussion being required. City Manager Neal Beets familiarized the City Council of upcoming Study Session agendas; with a Transportation Summit scheduled for the January 24, 2005 meeting and involving representatives from outside State and County agencies, as well as City staff to review pending projects and their budgetary and timing impacts to the City of Roseville. Mr. Beets also noted that discussion of the proposed OVAL Task Force was scheduled at that same Study Session; with both topics anticipated to take a substantial amount of time. Mr. Beets sought Council direction and discretion as to the priorities for the immediate upcoming Study Session agendas. Mayor Klausing determined that tonight's agenda would remain as presented, allowing for a preliminary presentation and brief discussion of the items identified; and further discussion potentially for a future agenda as deemed necessary. Councilmembers concurred. Councilmember Ihlan requested an update from staff at tonight's meeting as an additional agenda item related to park dedication for the Target Store, Rosedale Center and Twin Lakes Redevelopment area. Councilmember Ihlan noted that she was willing to receive a written report from staff on the Target and Rosedale Center park dedication.
