City Council Regular Meeting - 01/10/05 Minutes - Page 4 Mr. Kysylyczyn noted that he had filed a written public information request to obtain the attendance of the above- referenced individuals at the Association meetings during 2004, and was concerned about representation issues, and requested further discussion by the City Council. Mr. Kysylyczyn had prepared written questions for the Council: · Does it bother any of you that some members of the Fire Relief Board do not even know what the Mayor looks like? · Why don't any of you care that one of your board representatives failed to even show up to one meeting? B. Dan Roe, 2100 Avon Street Mr. Roe noted that he shared the concerns expressed by Councilmember Maschka regarding the City Council setting priorities, and in discussing Rules and Procedures in a Study Session format. Mr. Roe opined that the public would appreciate the City Council taking time to determine their priorities for the coming year, noting that while unexpected issues and events were likely to occur, other items were known and needed further consideration and review by the City Council. Mr. Roe encouraged the City Council to take such immediate action to determine Rules and Procedures for better operation of the City Council; and to better serve the public by discussing and setting priorities. Bahnemann, 2656 N Lexington Avenue Mr. Bahnemann encouraged electricity conservation by City staff, noting the outdoor Christmas lights, parking lot lighting and interior lighting on 24/7 at City Hall. 2.
