<br />City of <br /> <br />~~ <br /> <br />City Council Study Session <br />Minutes <br />City Council Chambers <br />Monday, May 16,2005 <br /> <br />Call Roll <br />Mayor Klausing called the Study Session of the Roseville City Council <br />to order at 6:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers on the above <br />date and welcomed everyone. <br /> <br />Call Roll <br />6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Roll Call (Voting Order) <br />Councilmembers Maschka, Kough, Ihlan, Schroeder and Mayor <br />Klausing. All were present. <br /> <br />City Attorney Jay Squires was also present. <br /> <br />Approve Agenda Approve Agenda <br />Mayor Klausing called for any comments or discussion on tonight's <br />Agenda. There were no comments. <br /> <br />1. Receive Public Comment about City Issues Public Comment <br />Mayor Klausing called for public comment by members of the <br />audience on any non-agenda items. <br /> <br />A. Joe Scheunemann, 697 Emerald Ridge <br />Mr. Scheunemann expressed his concerns regarding the <br />City's volunteer Fire Department; opining that a paid Fire <br />Paramedic program was in the best interests of the City of <br />Roseville and its residents and taxpayers. Mr. <br />Scheunemann challenged the City to use a "mike click" test <br />to determine actual dispatch and arrival times of Allina <br />personnel to compare with data provided by Allina. Mr. <br />Scheunemann requested that the City Council upgrade the <br />City's Fire Department, bringing it in line with efficiencies <br />of other City departments and improve response times for <br />those needing emergency medical assistance. <br />
