REPORT OF THE <br />COMMISSION CHAIR <br />PREPARED ON <br />FEBRUARY 15, <br />20i2 <br />Regarding a Schedule for <br />Commission meetings <br />for the Remainder of this <br />Calendar Year <br />Roseville Human Rights Commissioners: <br />February 22, 2012 <br />Item 6 i <br />Chair's Report <br />HUMAN RIGHTS <br />COMMISSION <br />MEETING <br />OF <br />FEBRUARY 'LZ,, <br />2012 <br />After consulting with every commissioner, including the Youth Commissioners, I <br />am recommending that the Human Rights Commission set its meeting schedule <br />for the remainder of 2012 as follows: <br />The Commission will meet every month, including July, at 6:30pm on the <br />third Wednesday of each month at City Hall. <br />I recognize that this is not a perfect fit for everyone's schedule, but after <br />repeated consultations with each commissioner and with staff, I realize there is <br />no perfect schedule which fits every commissioner's schedule. <br />I have been advised by staff that the Council chambers and cable television <br />technicians are available for this new meeting time. <br />Please note I am recommending not only a change in the meeting date, but a <br />change that we meet every month. I believe our workload requires it. If there is <br />not adequate reason for meeting, I can always cancel the meeting. <br />Please remember to bring with you to our February 22nd meeting your <br />schedulers, appointment books, lap tops or whatever you use for scheduling.
