REVIEWED/RECOMMENDS: <br />� <br />4n October 26, 197�, the eity received a petition fr�m the �_.owMer of nursery <br />on the west side of Galtier Streei, north of Larpenieur A�enue, requestin� <br />storm drain constru��aon. Thzs resulted in a feasibility study be�ng ordered <br />and said study was present�d to the counci3 on February 13, i978. <br />At �hat time,_ t�ro altern�tives wer� proposed ta meet the needs of this area. <br />The first would be to con5truct the storrn drain: along the west side of Galtier <br />Street to where it meets the first szngle family home and then extend it wester- <br />iy to the southwest corner of thafi si►�gle family parcel. T{ie second a�ternat�ve <br />would be �o continue the drain northerly along the back lot lines of the single <br />family parcels. If this were don� cons�derabl� fii�a�ng wou7d be rrecessary <br />�n the back yaras of the three of the hames. T�ese homeawrrers haue been invited <br />to this meeting, although no assessments would be levzed agains� them.
