D�TAILED PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br />Upon your authorization we sfiall prepare de�aiied warking plans <br />and spec3fzcations for the proposed improve�ents. In preparing <br />these p1ans and specifications we w�11 confer with your Director <br />af Public Works and your Planager, and such others as representa- <br />tives of the Minnesota Highway Department and Ramsey County <br />Eng3neer's Office, as appropriaie. <br />We will also aid you in the advertisement of bzds, assist you in <br />receiving bids and making recommendatians for the award of the <br />construction contrac�, as well as prepari�g con�ract docume�ts <br />for construction. <br />For this work we are to be paid 60 percent of the basic fee, w�ich <br />shall be payable upan the approval of the p�ans and specifications <br />by the City, the basic fee being as described in subsequent <br />5ection 5 hereof. <br />3. GENERAL 4BS�RUATION OF CONSTRUCTION <br />We will, upon your authorization, provide general observation of <br />construction during the cours-e af ca�struction which wi1Z eonsist <br />of periodic visits to the project site as frequent as is eonsis�ent <br />with the progress of the work. We shall further review con�rac�or's <br />certified monthyy estimates for payment, f�nal contractor's <br />
