The Statute <br />provides that if a municipality does not adopts its own <br />ardinance governing Binga operations and the licensing <br />the��ot, it wi].1, be dee�ed to have adopted the prov�sions <br />of thi.s Statute. <br />The foll.owing is a generai summary of the variaus <br />pravi.si.ons : <br />]_. Provides that Bingo conducted pu�suant to <br />this Statute a.s not gamblzng under the Criminal Code; <br />2. only organizations that have been in existez�ee <br />for 3 years and have at Ieast 30 active members and have <br />a license from the 1oea1 government unit may conduct <br />Bingo games; <br />3. Profits from B�nga may only be experaded for <br />law�ui purposes; <br />�4. Provides that una�.ts of local government may <br />enact ordin.ances regulata.ng Bingo mare restrictive than <br />the Statute and iux-ther provides that if a znunicipaliiy <br />does nat enact an ardinance, �t wi11 be deemed to have <br />adop�ed the provzsion� of this Statute; <br />��a <br />
